Our home is situated on 8 1 /2 acres of woods and wetlands in Jackson Township. The home has been a very special place for our family, a retreat to relax amongst the business of the world. Our family lives in the main house , but the suite has it's own front door, garage, security system and deck entrances. Smoke and Pet free home. You will have as much privacy as you desire.
We fully understand that your HMA is primarily a working trip. If you desire, we will be happy to setup mission presentations in OH & Western PA churches & individuals. The suite has full internet access & availability to free color copies.
The sun room is a favorite room, which looks out to the woods and connects to the deck. Deck chairs, table and grill are available so you may experience the outdoors any time. The swivel chairs are just plain fun to use, most people just turn them to the woods and enjoy. This room could be used as an additional bedroom for an older child.
The living room is setup with a couch, chairs, cable TV, Bose radio and bookcase (please come borrow from our main library).
The kitchen is fully stocked with refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, hot water pot, pots, pans, cookie sheets, dishes, silverware, cooking instruments , towels and a bit of starter food
Kitchen table fits four to six comforably, with a great view of the front yard and lots of birds and wildlife. The kitchen and dining area are connected. A variety of grocery stores are very close by as is a major shopping mall.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, dresser under the bed and desk. The suite has a guest internet service which is included. the master has a complete bathroom, which is accessable to the front hallway for guests.
This bedroom is setup with a full & single bunkbed configuration and a separate single bed. There is room for a crib if needed. Dresser space is available under the bunkbed and a separate dresser. Large walk in closet with lots of hanging space and suitcase holders. This bedroom has it's own complete bathroom including tubs/shower & two desks.
The suite has it's own washer, dryer and several large closets. Several sets of sheets, varous pillow styles, towels and wash clothes are stocked. Initial stock of detergent is available to get you started.
Get out doors and enjoy beautiful hiking trails in Canton, Akron, Cleveland metro Parks. and the Cuyahoga National Park.
Enjoy the NFL Hall of Fame inductee week (Actual 2 weeks) Balloon Festival sporting 50+ ballons, ribs Burn Off, Fourth largest parade in the country.
Come listen to a world renowned orchestra, at Blossum Outdoor Music Center. Take a blanket, picnic and maybe a bottle of wine and relax and listen to the music.
Ohio sports lots of navigable waterways, including rivers, canals and lakes. We have a canoe available (all equipment included) or take a white water raft trip.
Tons of birds in our back yard, state and national parks in the area. We have binoculars, scope and bird books for your use.
Come fish Ohio's streams, lakes and Lake Erie waters. we have fishing equipment for your use, but you will need an Ohio fishing license if you are 18+.

Typically participants leave developed areas to spend time outdoors in more natural ones in pursuit of activities providing them enjoyment. Come enjoy one of Ohio's 70+ camp grounds and can be enjoyed through all four seasons.
